My Shelf Player Privacy Policy

My Shelf Player is an audiobook player for connecting to your own Audiobookshelf server. This policy explains what information the app uses and how that information is handled.

Information You Provide

When you connect to your Audiobookshelf server, the app may store the server address, username, authentication token, selected library, playback settings, bookmarks, play history, and audiobook metadata needed to operate the app.

How Information Is Used

The app uses this information to:

• Connect to your Audiobookshelf server.
• Show your libraries, books, series, authors, narrators, playlists, bookmarks, and history.
• Play, resume, download, and track progress for audiobooks.
• Sync relevant playback and library information with Apple Watch and CarPlay.
• Process optional in-app purchases through Apple.

Data Sharing

My Shelf Player does not sell your personal information and does not use third-party advertising or tracking SDKs. The app communicates with the Audiobookshelf server you choose and with Apple services used by iOS, watchOS, StoreKit, and App Store purchases.

Storage

App data is stored on your device and may be included in device backups depending on your Apple settings. Audiobook downloads are stored locally for offline playback until you delete them or the app removes them based on your settings.

Apple Watch

If you use the Apple Watch app, selected library data, playback state, history, bookmarks, and settings may be transferred between your iPhone and Apple Watch so the watch can control playback and display library information.

In-App Purchases

Purchases are processed by Apple. My Shelf Player may check Apple purchase entitlements to determine whether optional features, such as downloads, are unlocked.

Your Choices

You can remove local app data by deleting the app from your device. You can manage downloads, bookmarks, history, watch sync options, and app settings inside the app. You can manage Apple purchases through your Apple Account settings.

Children's Privacy

My Shelf Player is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

This policy may be updated from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
